Despite a lengthy 13-year career, Matthew Stafford is still accomplishing things he's never done previously in the NFL Playoffs. Notably, this magical first year with the Los Angeles Rams will conclude with a Super Bowl 56 date against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Feb. 13.

The 2022 NFL Playoffs marks just the fourth time in Stafford's career that he's led a team to the postseason, and he's on one hell of a run with this dominant Rams squad. It's worth taking a look back at Stafford's brief playoff career.

Stafford owns a 3-3 overall record in the NFL Playoffs. This has included a winning streak of three games during this year's postseason with wins against the Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers. He had never won a playoff game prior to this season.

Stafford vs 49ers NFC Championship

Stafford punched his first ever ticket to the Super Bowl after a gritty performance against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship. In the game, Stafford completed 31-of-45 passes (68.9%) for 337 yards and 2 TDs to 1 INT. The Rams advanced after a 20-17 win.

Stafford vs Buccaneers Divisional Round

In what may have been the best playoff performance of his career, Stafford brought the Los Angeles Rams on the road and defeated defending Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 30-27, in the Divisional Round. Stafford completed 28-of-38 passes (73.7%) for 366 yards and 2 TDs to 0 INTs. He also added a score on the ground.

Stafford vs Cardinals Wild Card

Stafford and the Rams got this year's Super Bowl journey started with a dominant 34-11 victory over NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals on Super Wild Card Weekend. In this game, Stafford completed 13-of-17 passes (76.5%) for 202 yards and 2 TDs to 0 INTs. He also scored one rushing TD.

Lions vs Seahawks NFC Wild Card 2017

Back with the Detroit Lions, Stafford led his 2016-17 team to the Wild Card round against the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle prevailed in this matchup on Jan. 7, 2017, by a score of 26-6. Stafford completed 18of-32 passes (56.3%) for 205 yards and 0 TDs to 0 INTs.

Lions vs Cowboys NFC Wild Card 2015

In his second career playoff game, Stafford dropped a Wild Card matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Jan. 4, 2015. The Lions lost, 20-24, while Stafford completed 28-of-42 passes (66.7%) for 323 yards and 1 TD to 1 INT.

Lions vs Saints NFC Wild Card 2012

In his first ever playoff appearance, Stafford and the Lions squared off against the New Orleans Saints on Jan. 7, 2012. The Lions lost this matchup, 28-45, but Stafford completed 28-of-43 passes (65.1%) for 380 yards and 3 TDs to 0 INTs.
