Matt Landers Complete NFL Draft Profile (Athletic Receiver Has Late-Round Upside)

Updated:
Arkansas wide receiver Matt Landers is headed to the 2023 NFL Draft after five collegiate seasons at three different schools; Georgia, Toledo and Arkansas. Landers didn't start providing a noticeable impact until he arrived at Toldeo, where that production then increased in his fifth and final college season at Arkansas.
Here's everything you need to know about Matt Landers heading into the 2023 NFL Draft.

Matt Landers Scouting Report
Landers has the height and weight to be a force down the field, in one-on-one situations and in traffic. He has tremendous jumping ability and great body control along with impressive size.
Landers also has both the speed and route-running to create real separation and could turn into a serious down-the-field threat at the next level. He has great hands, too, and has proven he can make impressive catches over either shoulder.
While he does have the athleticism to be both a deep threat and a good yardage-after-the-catch guy, Landers was more of a possession receiver in college.

Matt Landers NFL Draft Prediction
Some experts don't see Landers' name being called at all across the next three days, but that's hard for me to believe given his raw athleticism and the flashes he showed in college. His lack of consistent production and transferring two times might scare some teams off, but Landers is talented enough for someone to take a chance on.
Bill Belichick and the Patriots have turned plenty of late-round picks into incredible NFL players in the past and they might view Landers as their next project. The team is weak at wide receiver and with Belichick's tutelage, Landers could become a productive NFL player in New England eventually.
Prediction: New England Patriots (Round 6, 184th Overall)
