2022 NBA Summer League Game
Orlando Magic (1-0) vs. Sacramento Kings (0-0)
Date: Saturday, July 9, 2022
Time: 4 p.m. ET
Venue: Thomas & Mack Center — Las Vegas, NV

The Orlando Magic and Sacramento Kings square off their Las Vegas Summer League action on Saturday. Orlando opened up with a 91-77 victory over the Houston Rockets on Thursday, which included a game-high 20 points from this year's 32nd overall pick, Caleb Houstan.

Meanwhile, the Kings enjoyed an impressive 3-0 run in the California Classic and hope to bring that momentum to Las Vegas. They're going to rely on Keegan Murray to make that happen. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft averaged a tournament-high 19.7 points per game while also averaging 8.0 rebounds while playing 30.1 minutes per game.

Orlando enters this contest as a slight road favorite on the moneyline and spread. This 4 p.m. ET clash also features one of the higher totals for Saturday's slate of games at 172.5.

Magic vs Kings Prediction & Pick

It really isn't surprising that the Magic are the slight road favorites, especially when their roster includes the likes of Houstan and, of course, 2022 first overall pick Paolo Banchero. The 19-year-old had 15 points, five assists, and a steal at halftime during Orlando's win on Thursday, showcasing the offensive firepower he brings to the table.

As many promising young players as the Kings have, the Magic's roster is deeper and more talented. I don't have any issue taking Orlando at -126 on the moneyline.
