With the NFL Playoffs fast approaching, teams out of contention aren't going to be shy about starting to make moves with the 2022 season in mind. That can include some shakeups on the coaching staff.

Here's a list of NFL head coaches who have been fired during the 2021 season.

Former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden stepped down from his job on Monday, Oct. 11 after a series of past off-field troubles came to light.

Former Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer was fired on Thursday, Dec. 16 after a disastrous first season with the Jags.
