Lions New Uniform Concept Design on Reddit Looks Amazing

Updated:

This offseason has seen a handful of NFL teams get redesigned uniforms. Some are getting mixed reviews, but for the most part the changes have been positive.

The Detroit Lions weren't one of the teams to get new threads, but that hasn't stopped fans from dreaming. Reddit user u/detroitlions420 shared a really exciting new jersey concept. You can also find his designs on Instagram @LucsDesign91.

Of course, any jersey that nods to the Barry Sanders era is going to get Lions fans excited. This is a really clean, modern take on those 1990's jerseys, with the thick stripe on the arm and the simple blue look. Flipping the gray and white also really lets the numbers and the stripes pop.

The Lions last unveiled new uniform updates in 2017, so they're not exactly due for a new look. Seeing great fan designs like this one, however, maybe they should consider another update in the near future.
