Week 10 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes a matchup between the Liberty Flames and Arkansas Razorbacks. Liberty has been the best independent FBS program so far this fall, solidifying its placement thanks to a 41-14 victory over BYU in its last outing two weeks ago.

Arkansas enters the week searching for its third consecutive win. Momentum is high for the Razorbacks after snagging a 41-27 win over Auburn last week. Arkansas' run game was in full effect in the victory as the team turned 48 carries into 286 rushing yards with four touchdowns.

Liberty vs Arkansas Prediction & Pick

On paper, Liberty's 7-1 record looks phenomenal. At the same time, the Flames haven't exactly dealt with too many noteworthy opponents. They've been beating up on weaker teams from the Sun Belt, Big Sky and C-USA, as well as other independent schools. When Liberty was finally given a stiffer test in the form of Wake Forest, the Flames came up short.

While Arkansas has been far from perfect, its status as an SEC program brings an advantage. With home-field advantage on their side, I expect the Razorbacks to continue running the ball at a rate that the Flames can't keep up with. After all, Arkansas averages the second-most rushing yards (262.0) at home and I don't think Liberty is ready for that onslaught.

Liberty should still be productive against Arkansas' weak secondary, but it won't be good enough. The Razorbacks are the overall better team and will get the win at home.

Both schools have strong offenses and with the Razorbacks' defense leaving a bit to be desired, I see the over being hit yet again.
