James will change from No. 23 to No. 6 for the upcoming NBA season. He's actually worn that number once before during his career.

LeBron made the switch to No. 6 first when he joined the Miami Heat ahead of the 2010-11 season after wearing No. 23 when he entered the league in 2003. After four seasons and two NBA Finals wins, James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers ahead of the 2014-15 campaign and donned No. 23 once again.

This is the second time LeBron James has changed his jersey number from No. 23. He wore 23 for his first seven NBA seasons with the Cavaliers before changing to No. 6 with the Heat.
