3 Last-Minute Super Bowl 57 Bets You Need to Make Before It's Too Late

Updated:

Super Bowl LVII is just one day away, meaning time is running out to get those bets in. The Philadelphia Eagles are currently the 1.5-point favorites over the Kansas City Chiefs, as per FanDuel Sportsbook, but the spread is far from the only market worth participating in.

From touchdown-related markets to defensive props, there's something for everyone when it comes to FanDuel Sportsbook's Super Bowl 57 markets. Keeping that in mind, here are three last-minute Super Bowl bets you need to make before it's too late.

Best Super Bowl Bets 2023

1. Total — Over 50.5 Points (-118)

As each day passes, it's looking more and more like Super Bowl LVII will be a shootout. The current total sits at 50.5 points with the over being favored at -118 odds. Surpassing that number shouldn't be an issue for the Eagles and Chiefs, who own the NFL's best offenses and combine for 57.4 PPG. Nevertheless, the total could continue to rise as more bettors back the over, which is why it's smart to get in on the action before the number gets too high. Erring on the side of caution is the better idea here, especially when nothing is guaranteed in sports. Back the total going over 50.5 points while you still can.

2. Jalen Hurts to have 1+ Passing TDs in Each Half (+140)

Keeping up with the theme of this game potentially becoming a shootout, I like Jalen Hurts' odds to throw at least one touchdown pass in each half. Opposing QBs tend to pad their TD totals against the Chiefs, who allowed an NFL-leading 33 passing touchdowns during the regular season. With Kansas City's secondary leaving a lot to be desired, Hurts should have plenty of opportunities to find the likes of A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert in the end zone. Though he didn't need to throw a TD to beat the San Francisco 49ers, the Chiefs being beatable through the air will change that.

3. Travis Kelce to Win Super Bowl MVP (+1400)

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has the best Super Bowl MVP odds of any non-quarterback this weekend. For good reason, too. Kelce further cemented himself as the league's all-time great TEs with another huge regular-season performance and continued that with 21 catches for 176 receiving yards and three touchdowns in two playoff games. Although a tight end has never won Super Bowl MVP honors, who's more fitting to make that history than Kelce? The Chiefs wouldn't be where they are without him and it's going to take everything the Eagles have to slow him down. With two pass-catchers taking home the honors in two of the last four Super Bowls, it's smart to hop on the Kelce train before it leaves the station.
