Las Vegas Raiders Training Camp 2022 Dates, Schedule & Location

Teams across the NFL are preparing to ramp up for the 2022 regular season with the start of training camp. The Las Vegas Raiders are one of the first squads to take the field as the preseason nears.

Here's everything Raiders fans need to know about training camp this year.

When Does Las Vegas Raiders Training Camp Start?

Each team has two separate start dates for training camp, as rookies are often required to report a few days before veterans. The Raiders and Buffalo Bills have the earliest start of teams across the league, with rookies reporting on Monday, July 18.

Then, on Wednesday, July 20, Las Vegas' veterans are mandated to report for training camp. This gives just two weeks to prepare for the team's first preseason game on Aug. 4.

The Raiders will host training camp at their practice facility, Intermountain Healthcare Performance Center, in Henderson, Nevada.

Raiders Training Camp Dates 2022

Raiders rookies are reporting for training camp on July 18, followed by vets on July 20. Las Vegas will then host practices to get ready for its first preseason game on Aug. 4.

The team's participation in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars means they'll play four exhibition contests instead of three ahead of the regular season. They're also slated to play on Aug. 14 (vs. the Minnesota Vikings), Aug. 20 (at the Miami Dolphins) and Aug. 26 (vs. the New England Patriots).

The Raiders will suit up on Sunday, Sept. 11 versus the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1 of the 2022 campaign.

Raiders Training Camp News

Veteran running back Kenyan Drake revealed Monday ahead of training camp that he'll be ready to participate when practices begin. Drake wasn't cleared for minicamp in June after having ankle surgery last December.

He cautioned he won't be full speed in training camp right away, but he has no worries about being ready for the start of the regular season.
