Despite the Grizzlies being the higher seed, it was all the underdog in Game 1 as the Lakers coasted to a 128-112 victory. Unlikely heroes Austin Reaves (23 points, 61.5% shooting) and Rui Hachimura (29 points, 78.6% shooting) led the charge while LeBron James and Anthony Davis each had double-doubles.

The Lakers might be the No. 7 seed in the West, but they looked like contenders with a dominant Game 1 victory. The fact that Davis and James finished the game as the third- and fourth-highest scorers, respectively, shows just how deep the Lakers are.

The Grizzlies have depth too, but that won't matter if top player Ja Morant can't play. The talented guard exited Game 1 with a hand injury and while the X-ray results came back negative, Morant told reporters on Monday that his Game 2 status "is in jeopardy." For reference, Memphis is just 7-7 in the last 14 games he's missed.

The Grizzlies will fight hard after their latest loss, but this is a Lakers team that's built for a deep playoff run. Los Angeles' star and depth players are coming alive at the right time and if the last game was any indication, Memphis isn't ready.

After dominating the Grizzlies on the scoreboard and on the glass (45-34) in Game 1, look for the Lakers to take the 2-0 series lead.

For Game 2's best bet, I'm going with the Lakers as +1.5 underdogs. The Grizzlies have struggled with the spread lately, going 1-5 ATS in their last six outings and 1-4 ATS against their last five Western Conference opponents. Meanwhile, the Lakers are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games against the Southwest Division and have covered in four of their last six meetings with Memphis.

With the Grizzlies likely being without Morant, I love the Lakers' shot an another upset.
