Knicks vs Warriors Game Info

2022-23 NBA Regular Season Game
New York Knicks (8-7, 4-4 Away) vs. Golden State Warriors (6-9, 6-1 Home)
Date: Friday, Nov. 18, 2022
Time: 10:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Chase Center — San Francisco, CA
Coverage: ESPN

The 2022-23 NBA season keeps rolling on Friday with a matchup between the New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors. The Knicks have started their road trip with back-to-back wins. Julius Randle dropped 34 points and 11 rebounds in a 106-103 win over the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Warriors fell short against the Suns in a 130-119 defeat on Wednesday. The offense was not an issue as Stephen Curry shined with 50 points on 17-of-28 shooting (7-of-11 from three-point range). Golden State allowed Phoenix to shoot 52.5% (21-of-40) from beyond the perimeter, though.

The Warriors enter this contest as clear home favorites on the moneyline and spread on FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. This 10 p.m. ET clash also features a total of 234.5, which is among the highest of Friday's projected totals.

Knicks vs Warriors Prediction & Pick

It's not hard to tell that the Warriors like playing at the Chase Center. Golden State is averaging the third-most points per home game this season (121.9) and are shooting an impressive 49.5% from the floor during those games (No. 4 in NBA). The Knicks have their work cut out for them on Friday night.

New York also played back-to-back road games on Tuesday and Wednesday night. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Knicks start a bit sluggish after the opening tip. After all, head coach Tom Thibodeau's team is averaging the just 26.4 first quarter points per away game (No. 27 in NBA).

I'll back the Warriors to jump out to a big early lead and cruise to a comfortable victory on Friday.

Final Score Prediction: Knicks: 106 | Warriors: 122

Knicks vs Warriors Betting Trends

- New York is 10-2 against the spread (ATS) in its last 12 games against a Western Conference opponent.
- The total has hit the under in six of New York's last nine games.
- Golden State is 12-3 straight up in its last 15 games against New York.
- The total has hit the over in six of Golden State's last nine games against New York.

Knicks vs Warriors Best Bet

The Warriors are in a very similar spot to the one they were in on Monday against the San Antonio Spurs. They are once again listed as a 7.5-point home favorite and the point total is set above 230 points. A 132-95 win over San Antonio caused the under to cash and I expect the same result tonight.

The Warriors are only allowing 111.6 points per home game this season, while the Knicks are putting up just 107.9 points per away game. Keep in mind Golden State ranks dead last in the NBA when it comes to free throws attempted per game, too. A lack of free throws in a blowout win kills the over.

Bet: Under 234.5 Points (-110)
