  • The Knicks went 39-43-0 ATS last season.
  • The Cavaliers went 21-18-2 as underdogs of 2.5 points or greater last season.
  • Last season, the combined scoring went over the point total 39 times in Knicks games.
  • In 82 Cavaliers games last year, 37 of them hit the over.

Knicks vs. Cavaliers Prediction & Pick

Game 3 was an unmitigated disaster for Cleveland. The Cavs started slow and just couldn't get anything going on offense, finishing the first half with a mere 32 points and committing a whopping 20 turnovers overall.

They started to turn things around in the second half with 47 points, however, which bodes well for their Game 4 outlook. Cleveland will certainly improve on its 39/21/59 shooting splits and should be more comfortable at MSG after a game to acclimate.

Furthermore, the Cavs' defense played well in Game 3, holding the Knicks to 47/30/61 shooting splits and giving up just 17 first-quarter points. If Cleveland brings that same intensity on defense in Game 4 and plays better on offense, it should be enough to win.

Prediction: Cavaliers: 104 | Knicks: 98

Knicks vs. Cavaliers Best Bet

While it's not easy to pick who will win Game 4, one thing we do know for certain is that there won't be a lot of points scored. All three games have gone under 200 total points, averaging just 191 points per contest. Both defenses have been suffocating and neither offense has much firepower, resulting in three grind-it-out slugfests so far.

Game 4 will likely be another one, making the Under a no-brainer.

Bet: Under 206.5 Total Points (-110)
