Date: Wednesday, July 13, 2022
Time: 8 p.m. ET
Venue: Thomas & Mack Center — Las Vegas, NV

The Sacramento Kings and Oklahoma City Thunder square off in Las Vegas Summer League action on Wednesday. The Kings are feeling pretty good about themselves following a 103-96 victory against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Thunder are also buzzing following their own 84-81 win over the Orlando Magic on Monday. Oklahoma City was led by 2022 first-round pick Chet Holmgren's impressive 16-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Oklahoma City enters this contest as the slight favorite on the moneyline and spread. This 8 p.m. ET clash also features one of the middle-of-the-pack totals for Wednesday's slate of games at 172.5.

Kings vs Thunder Prediction & Pick

A big part of the King's last win was the fact that they shot 43.9% from three-point range against the Pacers. Unfortunately, that's going to be tougher to recreate against a Thunder team that held the Magic to 24.3% shooting from beyond the arc.

The Thunder also have the benefit of having several talented players in the form of Holmgren, Josh Giddey and Aleksej Pokusevski. Assuming that all three players play, I think that the Kings will have a tough time keeping up with them, even if 2022 first-round pick Keegan Murray continues to impress.

For best value, take the Thunder as 3.5-point favorites on the spread.
