Kevin Stefanski Fires Back at Myles Garrett as Browns Infighting Continues

Updated:

The Cleveland Browns suffered yet another loss inn Week 12, bringing their record to an abysmal 3-7 on the season. The locker room is clearly a frustrated, and Myles Garrett used his postgame presser to criticize the team's lack of concentration on forcing takeaways in practice.

Myles Garrett Comments

While that might be how Garrett feels, clearly his head coach disagrees with his star player's analysis, and Kevin Stefanski didn't seem too pleased about how it was delivered. Stefanski took his opportunity to refute Garrett's comments and explain that the star edge rusher doesn't speak for anyone but himself.

This certainly wasn't the most welcoming response, but then again, Garrett did directly insult his coaching style and techniques. It's not uncommon for emotions to run high when a team struggles like the Browns have, especially when there's this much talent on the roster.

It's clear some disconnects are happening both in the locker room and on the field. Cleveland will have to sort them all out very quickly if they hope to salvage this season. Getting quarterback Deshaun Watson in Week 13 should go a long way in helping do that.

In the meantime, the Browns have a Week 12 matchup with Tampa Bay Buccaneers to look forward to, where Cleveland is a 3-point home underdog, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
