The final three days of the three-week Keeneland Spring Meet continue on Wednesday with 8 races and a post time of 1 p.m. ET.

As always, check the program for scratches and changes, monitor the weather and keep an eye on the track conditions.

(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races after adjusting for track, distances, and conditions).

Keeneland Betting Picks

According to numberFire horse racing projections and East Coast Handicapping Report (ECHR), these are some of the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing today.

Did you follow FanDuel Racing picks and cash in on the biggest longshot in a recent Allowance race at Keeneland? Time For Trouble (18/1) cashed $2 win bets for $37.50 and a $2 exacta paid $189. Mobile betting on horse racing is easy with the best-in-class experience at FanDuel.

Race 4 is an Allowance race for older horses at 1 mile on the turf. Catnip (9/2) is the preferred pick on top by numberFire's data. But the favorite Exact Estimate (7/5) will be tough here according to ECHR. He strings races together and is coming off a maiden win in which he came home flying. The meet's top jockey Tyler Gaffalione also rides for EPO trainer Chad Brown.

2. Nero and Our Shot, Race 6

FanDuel Racing Odds: 8/1 and 6/1

Race 6 is an Allowance race for older horses sprinting 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf. The numberFire projection has the heavy favorite Bound for Nowhere (2/5) on top. He's a 9-year-old making his 2023 debut after winning 2-of-3 starts last year, including a Grade 2 race. Despite facing better competition in previous races, he's not a good risk/reward bet with potential health issues.

But Top Race Reports and the ECHR go for value and note that trainer Neil Drysdale ships Nero (8/1) out west with a strong bullet work in place, added blinkers and some stronger speed figures in past races. Our Shot (6/1) moves from a dirt win last month to the turf, so his speed will be accentuated while leading jockey Luis Saez rides.

3. Federalist Papers and Bravo Kitten, Race 8

FanDuel Racing Odds: 6/1 and 8/1

Race 8 is the featured Allowance race for older fillies and mares at 1 1/2 miles on the turf. Miss Yearwood (9/2) and Broadway Boogie (9/5) are the top win contenders according to numberFire's data.

ECHR notes Federalist Papers (6/1) can challenge for a top finish off a 6-month layoff. He fits class-wise and Tyler Gaffalione rides as the go-to jockey for trainer Brendan Walsh. Bravo Kitten (8/1) has Saez riding for EPO trainer Saffie Joseph, Jr. He's fresh off a win last month and 3 straight in-the-money finishes.
