Kansas City Weather Could Have Big Impact on Divisional Round Game

The AFC Divisional Round matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars is sure to be a battle as these teams vie for a spot in the championship game. With a ton of talent on both sides, a win certainly won't come easy.
However, there's another element that could make pulling out a victory even more difficult: the weather.

Scott Pilie of The Weather Channel note there's "growing potential" for another winter storm to develop and dump snow on two playoff games this weekend, including Chiefs-Jags. TWC's official forecast currently projects a 60% chance of snow on Saturday, with showers developing in the afternoon.
Since Kansas City and Jacksonville are slated to kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, it looks like these teams could be playing under wintery conditions.
It's going to take a lot more than some snow to slow down Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, though. They're become very familiar with playing deep into January during their current reign of dominance, so they know how to manage the elements.
Oddsmakers aren't showing any concern about the potential weather on Saturday. The over/under for this contest is set at 52.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds, which is the highest of the Divisional Round slate.
