Justin Thomas Masters Prediction 2023

Justin Thomas has had his moments at the Masters. He led the tournament halfway through in 2020 before finishing 4th for his best finish. That event was in the fall with no fans, but Thomas has finished T8 in 2022 after opening with 76 and T12 in 2019, all at lower odds to win. Now he has Bones on his bag, who caddied for Phil Mickelson's three wins and helped JT through last year as his new caddy.

More 2023 Masters betting content from The Duel:

Thomas' game is such a good fit for Augusta with his superior iron play combined with outstanding chipping and pitching from tight lies. The 15-time PGA Tour winner currently ranks No. 1 in the field in Strokes Gained Around the Green this year and top-10 stats in Tee-to-Green. Seven of his last 20 rounds at Augusta National have been under par, and he's gone low with 67, 67 and 66 in a round each of the last three years. That makes betting Thomas as Round 1 leader at +3100 odds worth a shot.

Keeping that in mind, Thomas is worth a bet to win the Masters at +2200, the same odds he won the 2021 Players Championship. A top-5 finish at +410 odds looks like a small bankroll bet as well.
