Joey Votto Has Funniest Post-Game Quote Ever After Hitting Walk-Off Home Run

Updated:

Cincinnati Reds veteran star and first baseman Joey Votto has had plenty of at-bats in his incredible MLB career that's spanned from 2007.

However, it's not every day we see the six-time MLB All-Star calling for no more at-bats in a game, simply wanting to get things over with as soon as possible. And for what reason? Not because he didn't want another shot at a hit, but instead because he had a hankering for fried chicken.

It's safe to say that's certainly not where I thought Votto was going with that reasoning.

Despite the overwhelming craving for some fried chicken, after being asked which chicken spot would be open at that very hour after the game, Votto smirked and refused to divulge the name of such a spot that he was clearly picturing in his head.

And he claimed the secrecy behind it was because he wouldn't do any free advertising for them, but also left the door open for a potential deal if this spot was interested in contacting his agent amid even more smiles.
