Kim vs Bohm Prediction

Two fighters in desperate need of a win meet head-to-head on the preliminary card of UFC Vegas 68. Ji Yeon Kim has lost five of her last six bouts and each loss has come via decision. It's clear that the 33-year-old is not doing what it takes to make a true impression on the judges when in the octagon.

She has a chance to bounce back considering her opponent has lost the only two UFC fights she has been a part of. Mandy Bohm made her UFC debut with a 7-0-0 record before suffering back-to-back losses to Ariane Lipski and Victoria Leonardo. It has not been a great start for the German warrior.

These two enter Saturday with very similar physical statures and fighting styles. Both Kim and Bohm stand at 5-foot-7 and tend to take their fights the distance. With that being said, I'll lean toward the more experienced fighter, as Kim has proven she is capable of winning in the UFC while Bohm has not shown that yet.

I'll side with Ji Yeon Kim to come out on top.

Kim vs Bohm Best Bet

I'm going to drive the point home even more here. Of Kim's 17 professional fights, 12 have lasted all three rounds. The same thing can be said for five of Mandy Bohm's nine career bouts. An occasional knockout or submission win is not enough to deny that these women have the motor to keep fighting.

Bettors can back this fight to go the distance, but a better payout comes when linking a winner to that outcome. Kim has racked up two wins via decision in the UFC and simply needs to get back to making the right adjustments between rounds. I like her chances of doing so and winning over the judges.

Bet: Kim by Decision (TBD)
