Jets Officially Name Week 16 Starting Quarterback

The New York Jets' quarterback position has been a merry-go-round this season. Whether it be because of injury or poor play, Joe Flacco, Mike White and Zach Wilson have all started games for Gang Green so far in 2022.

Wilson was benched a few weeks ago in favor of White, who was fantastic as the team's starter in his first game. But in Week 14, White suffered a rib injury that handed Wilson the starting job back.

Shockingly enough, Wilson put up a great performance in Week 15, throwing for 2 touchdowns and over 300 yards. Still, there was still the feeling that if White was healthy, he would get the job back. On Tuesday, we got word that White will not be ready in time and Wilson will officially get the start again in Week 16.

The Jets pretty much need to win out to try and keep pace for a playoff spot in the AFC. Even with Wilson's better-than-expected performance in Week 15, he will have to top it going up against a Jaguars team on a roll.

The Jets take on the Jaguars in Week 16, where New York is a 1.5-point home favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
