Jason Kelce Reveals Chances of Playing vs. Cowboys After Week 5 Injury

The Philadelphia Eagles entered Week 5 shorthanded, but they still ultimately pulled out a hard-fought 20-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals. However, the injury hits kept coming, as center Jason Kelce suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter and battled through it the rest of the game.

After Sunday's contest, Kelce gave an update on his chances of playing in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Kelce joked and said "I tend to be dramatic" after he was seen limping during Sunday's game. He told reporters after the win he doesn't expected to be sidelined for Week 6's crucial division clash, so his consecutive start streak appears to not be in serious danger.

This update eases most of the worries on the All-Pro center. Monday's MRI will reveal the severity of the ankle sprain, but it doesn't sound like it's a serious issue.

Philadelphia will certainly need Kelce ahead of this important game. The Cowboys have weathered through the loss of Dak Prescott and sit tied for second in the NFC East behind the Eagles. Their defense has been one of the best in the league, so having Kelce at 100% would be massive against an intimidating pass rush.
