Jasudavicius vs Fernandes Prediction

Fans are in for a treat as Gabriella Fernandes is set to make her UFC debut after ripping off seven straight wins in the Legacy Fighting Alliance. Her most recent victory came via submission against Karoline Martins Moreira in September of 2022. Fernandes pulled off an impressive guillotine choke.

Fernandes is set to face Jasmine Jasudavicius, who debuted in the UFC with a unanimous decision win over Kay Hansen in January of 2022. She then took a step back with a unanimous decision loss against Natalia Silva in June. The 29-year-old's experience does give her an advantage in this bout.

This is a close fight to call, but I find myself leaning toward Jasudavicius. Fernandes is an unproven southpaw that tends to lean on her kicking abilities to wear down her opponent. Jasudavicius has proven capable of going the full 15 minutes if needed, so expect her not to get worn down in any way.

I'll side with Jasmine Jasudavicius to come out on top.

Jasudavicius vs Fernandes Best Bet

It's best to avoid a method of victory prop as this fight could truly go either way. Backing the bout to go the distance has some underrated value, though. Each of Jasudavicius' last five fights have come down to a decision, while the same thing can be said about four of Fernandes' last eight matchups.

Fernandes has thrived as of late due to an ability to get into favorable submission scenarios when on the ground. That'll be tough to do on Saturday as Jasudavicius owns a 70% takedown defense rate. Look for Fernandes to counter that with a safer game plan that ends up completing all three rounds.

Bet: Fight to Go the Distance (TBD)
