Jalen Hurts Has Incredibly Classy Response to Breaking Mike Vick's Eagles Record

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had himself a game on Sunday Night Football in Week 12. Hurts had a modest 153 yards through the air and 2 touchdowns, but his performance on the ground was record-setting.

Hurt rushed for a whopping 157 yards against the Green Bay Packers. With this performance he broke the Eagles' franchise single-game quarterback rushing record, which was previously held by Mike Vick.

Vick is still widely regarded as the best rushing quarterback in NFL history, putting up historic numbers before offenses were really willing to lean on even the most mobile quarterbacks. Vick is the measuring stick today's rushing quarterbacks get compared against, but for Vick that comparison was to another Eagles great — Randall Cunningham.

Hurts is enjoying the best season of his career and it's showing in the Eagles record, now sitting at 10-1, the best record in the NFL and the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. He has a 17-3 touchdown-to-interception ratio and a passer rating of 105.6.
