One team that's no stranger to playing in bowl games is the Iowa Hawkeyes. Here's everything you need to know about Iowa's bowl history before making its next appearance.

Iowa Bowl Game History

Iowa has frequented the college football postseason throughout its history. The Hawkeyes have played in 35 bowls all-time.

The Hawkeyes made their first bowl appearance in 1957 as part of the Big Ten Conference. They defeated Oregon State 35-19 at the Rose Bowl that year.

Iowa has only missed three bowl games since the 2001 NCAAF season. The Hawkeyes most recently played at the 2022 Music City Bowl, winning 21-0 over Kentucky.
