Week 1 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes a showdown between the Illinois State Redbirds and No. 18 Wisconsin Badgers. The 2021 season was a disaster for the Redbirds, who went an abysmal 2-6 against the MVFC in addition to going 4-7 overall. While Illinois State won its opener against Butler a year ago, things will be much tougher against Wisconsin.
