Garry vs Song Prediction

Ian Garry has wasted no time making a name for himself at the UFC level. The 25-year-old has already fought in three pay-per-view slots and has come out on top every time. He defeated Jordan Williams via KO in his debut before taking down Darian Weeks and Gabe Green via unanimous decisions.

Next up for Garry is a matchup against Kenan Song. Song is an experienced fighter, posting a 19-6-0 professional record and a 4-2-0 record in the UFC. He's also coming off a loss to Max Griffin (KO), though, and enters Saturday night with a disadvantage in both reach as well as height against Garry.

That gives Garry a chance to end this one early. Song has been criticized in the past for his shaky defense and weak chin, which was on full display in his most recent bout. Garry lands an impressive 4.95 significant strikes per minute and should be able to make Song uncomfortable right away.

I'll side with Ian Garry to emerge victorious.

Garry vs Song Best Bet

Garry is a rightful favorite here, but his -850 moneyline odds make it hard to back him in that sense. Shifting gears to the method of victory to ensure a better payout is a logical move to make. These fighters have combined to take part in nine UFC fights and five of them have ended in a knockout.

Not only does Garry land more punches than Song, but he also does so at an accuracy rate of 56%. Song's accuracy sits at 46% and is yet another reason why he is an underdog. Neither one of these fighters possess much of a ground game, which makes trusting their upright stats worth a shot.

Bet: Ian Garry by KO/TKO (-135)
