Both sides have gotten solid defensive play and goaltending so far, resulting in an average of 3 goals scored through the first three matchups. The Under is now 4-1 in the Hurricanes' last five games as well as 8-0 in the Panthers' previous eight.

Taking into account that all but one of the last seven Carolina-Florida matchups have finished with fewer than 5.5 goals, there's no reason to expect a shootout on Wednesday night.
