Here's How the Eagles Can Clinch the No. 1 Seed in the NFC in Week 16

Updated:

The Philadelphia Eagles rolled to their fifth straight victory in Week 15 and still sit atop the rest of the NFL with a stunning 13-1 overall record. Philadelphia already clinched their spot in the NFL playoffs, but this team has their sights set on bigger things.

The next logical step? Clinching the division will be nice, but the Eagles have an opportunity to clinch the NFC's No. 1 seed in Week 16. Here's how.

Luckily for Eagles, they are in complete control of their own destiny. Squaring off for an enticing Christmas Eve matchup against their fierce rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia needs just a win to clinch both the division and No. 1 seed.

Dallas is hurting after a brutal overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, which caused their record to fall to 10-4.

The two sides already met during Week 6 of the season. Philadelphia captured a 26-17 victory at home where A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith each caught a touchdown pass.

Following the Eagles' latest win, the team owns +430 odds to win Super Bowl 57 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
