Hellmann's Mayo Super Bowl 2023 Commercial Features a Jon Hamm and Brie Larson Sandwich

Another Super Bowl is upon us, which means plenty of star-studded commercials are on the way. Hellman's Mayo got in on the fun by playing on some food puns in a commercial featuring actors Jon Hamm, Brie Larson and Pete Davidson.

Hellman's Mayo Super Bowl Commercial 2023

The ad opens with a miniature Jon Hamm bumping into a jar of Hellmann's mayo in a fridge. It's soon revealed that Brie Larson — sitting on a slice of cheese — is also in the fridge. After some confusion, the duo realizes that they're in the fridge because part of their names — Brie and Hamm — are also foods.

Once Hamm and Larson realize that they're like for dinner, the fridge door opens, revealing that it belongs to former Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson. Hamm is dumbfounded that Davidson appears "everywhere," only for Davidson to declare that he's going to eat the refrigerated pair.

The ad cuts to Davidson making a mouth-watering grilled brie and ham sandwich. Larson and Hamm then appear in their full-sized form, leading to Davidson telling them that they're delicious. Hamm sums up the viewer's thoughts by saying that the entire situation is weird.

Hellmann's does a great job at playing on the puns connect to Hamm and Larson's names. It was also a brilliant idea to include Davidson, who does seemingly appear everywhere these days. Whether he's starring in a new commercial or dating another supermodel/actress, it's truly hard to escape the former SNL star.

Hamm, Larson and Davidson are all well-liked celebrities, so it was nice seeing them in a commercial together and having fun. The sandwich also looked delicious too, leaving time to tell how many viewers rush out the door once the Super Bowl ends to buy the ingredients to try and recreate it.
