Heat vs Warriors Game Info

2022-23 NBA Regular Season Game
Miami Heat (2-3, 1-0 Away) vs. Golden State Warriors (2-2, 2-1 Home)
Date: Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022
Time: 10 p.m. ET
Venue: Chase Center — San Francisco, CA
Coverage: NBA TV

The 2022-23 NBA season has another slate of action-packed games planned for Thursday, Oct. 27. One game that fans should definitely check out is a meeting between the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors. The Heat have momentum on their side after defeating the Portland Trail Blazers, 119-98, less than 24 hours ago.

On the other hand, the Warriors hope to rebound after being blown out, 134-105, by the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. A big part of the loss had to do with Golden State being outscored 62-39 in the second half, so a full 48-minute effort is needed for a victory tonight.

Heat vs Warriors Odds & Spread

All NBA betting lines, odds and prop bets are from FanDuel Sportsbook.
Moneyline: MIA: (+205) | GSW: (-250)
Spread: MIA: +6.5 (-110) | GSW: -6.5 (-110)
Total: 226.5 —Over: (-110) | Under: (-110)

The Warriors enter this contest as clear home favorites on the moneyline and spread on FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. This 10 p.m. ET clash also features an over/under of 226.5 points, which is the second-highest of Thursday's totals.

Heat vs WarriorsNets Prediction & Pick

The Heat have won two of their last three games, looking to keep the ball rolling on Thursday. Their game plan this season has been to spread the ball out, resulting in five players averaging between 12.0 and 21.8 points per game.

Miami's spread-out attack could be tough for the Warriors to handle. Once again, Stephen Curry leads the way with 30.8 PPG, but things get murky. Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson are only averaging a combined 26.0 PPG, shooting .413/.333/.789 and .356/.286/.8000, respectively.

The Warriors have also played mistake-filled basketball, averaging the third-most turnovers in the NBA. The Heat have the skill and experience to make their opponent pay for any mistakes. It also helps that Golden State surrenders the most points off turnovers (22.5 PPG).

Even though the Warriors have won two straight at home, they have improvements to show. With their combination of experience and teamwork, I like the Heat picking up the upset victory in a close one.

Final Score Prediction: Heat: 120 | Warriors: 116

Heat vs Warriors Betting Trends

- Miami is 6-2 against the spread (ATS) in its last eight games against Golden State.
- Golden State is 15-2 straight up in its last 17 home games.
- The total has hit the over in seven of Miami's last eight games against Golden State.
- The total has hit the over in four of Golden State's last five games.

Heat vs Warriors Best Bet

It seems like the Heat and Warriors bring out the best in each other, combining for the over in seven of their last eight meetings. Throw in the fact that they averaged a 229-point final total in those meetings and also have scored well over the last week or so, I'm taking the total hitting over 226.5 points tonight.

Bet: Over 226.5 Points (-110)
