The Heat picked up their second straight win with a 118-105 effort against the Detroit Pistons, led by Jimmy Butler's team-high 27 points. Meanwhile, Joel Embiid's massive 52-point performance helped elevate the 76ers to a 103-101 victory against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.

Do the Heat have what it takes to win their third consecutive game? Or will the 76ers get the last laugh in front of their home crowd?

  • Miami is 5-13 straight up in its last 18 road games against Philadelphia.
  • Philadelphia is 5-1 straight up in its last six home games.
  • Miami is 1-4 against the spread (ATS) in its last five games.
  • Philadelphia is 3-8 ATS in its last 11 games played on a Thursday.
  • The total has hit the over in eight of Miami's last 12 games.
  • The total has hit the under in five of Philadelphia's last six games against Miami.

Heat vs 76ers Prediction & Pick

The 76ers have thrived at Wells Fargo Center recently, winning five of their last six home games. Their defensive play has been fantastic over that span, holding opponents to a 106.7 PPG clip. Considering how the Heat average 109.1 PPG (No. 30) while the Sixers just held the Eastern Conference's top team to 101 points, I don't see that trend ending tonight.

The Heat might also be without Bam Adebayo (quad) and Kyle Lowry (knee), who are both questionable. While Tyrese Maxey (neck) is questionable for the 76ers, they should be fine without him due to Joel Embiid's presence. The superstar center is averaging 34.0 points on 69.2% true shooting over his last 19 games and will have plenty of room to do more damage if Adebayo is sidelined again.

With the Heat dropping four of their last six road games, I don't see them having what it takes to down the red-hot 76ers in Philly. Back Embiid and Co. getting the job done tonight.

Final Score Prediction: 76ers: 110 | Heat: 107

Heat vs 76ers Best Bet

All signs point to this game being a low-scoring affair. For starters, the under is 5-2 in the Heat's last seven games in April, as well as 4-1 in the 76ers' last five overall. The under has also been hit in five of the last six Philadelphia-Miami matchups, seeing an average of just 201.8 PPG scored.

The 76ers' defense has been great at home while the Heat have the worst offense in the Association. In other words, don't expect to see any fireworks tonight.

Bet: Under 219.5 Points (-110)
