The Musketeers are back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018 and are a top-3 seed for only the fourth time in school history. They are one of 12 teams left in the 2023 tournament that has yet to win a National Championship.

How Many Times Has Xavier Made the Elite 8?
Xavier's men's basketball team has made the Elite 8 three times. Those appearances came in 2004, 2008 and 2017. That 2017 squad entered March Madness as the No. 11 seed in the West Region.
