Grizzlies vs Nets Game Info

2022 NBA Summer League Game
Memphis Grizzlies (1-1) vs. Brooklyn Nets (1-1)
Date: Tuesday, July 12, 2022
Time: 6:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Cox Pavilion — Las Vegas, NV
Coverage: ESPN2

The Memphis Grizzlies and Brooklyn Nets square off in Las Vegas Summer League action on Tuesday. After losing their tournament opener, the Grizzlies rebounded nicely with a close-fought 70-63 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.

The Nets can relate to that feeling. They also dropped their first Summer League game, only to bounce back with a 91-84 win against the Philadelphia 76ers that same day. Cameron Thomas led his team to that victory, dropping a game-high 26 points, which included going 15-of-15 on his free throws.

Brooklyn enters this contest as the slight favorite on the moneyline and spread. This 6:30 p.m. ET clash also features one of the middle-of-the-pack totals for Tuesday's slate of games at 172.5.

Grizzlies vs Nets Prediction & Pick

Even though the Grizzlies won their last outing, it wasn't exactly in an impressive fashion. They only shot 36.4% from the field and 9.7% from three-point range, which isn't a recipe for success. While the Nets weren't perfect against the 76ers, they did shoot better (.433/.263/.875) than Memphis, making Brooklyn easier to trust.

Even though the odds are close here, I think the Nets will edge the Grizzlies in the end. Take Brooklyn as the 1.5-point favorite at -105 odds.
