The Atlanta Falcons have yet to capture that ever-elusive Lombardi Trophy, but this team has always seemed to field some top-tier talents across a variety of positions. And running back is certainly no exception.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the four best running backs in Falcons history.

Best Falcons Running Backs

4. Warrick Dunn (2002-2007)

Warrick Dunn had a really solid six-year stint in Atlanta. He had three straight campaigns with at least 1,100 rushing yards from 2004-06. Dunn's best season came in 2005, when he was named to his lone Pro Bowl with the Falcons after racking up 1,416 rushing yards.

3. Jamal Anderson (1994-2001)

Jamal Anderson had some incredible stretches during his eight-year tenure with the Falcons. From 1996-98, Anderson had 3,903 rushing yards and 32 total touchdowns. His best season came in '98, though, when he put up 2,165 yards from scrimmage and 16 total touchdowns. That earned him his lone Pro Bowl selection and first-team All-Pro nod. His 1,846 rushing yards that season are still a single-season franchise record.

2. Michael Turner (2008-2012)

In that 2008 season, Turner was a Pro Bowler and a first-team All-Pro after rushing for 1,699 yards and 17 touchdowns. His 60 rushing touchdowns are the most in Falcons' history.

1. Gerald Riggs (1982-1988)
