The Golden Knights showcased their toughness in Game 3 as they went into Rogers Place and emerged victorious by a score of 5-1. Jack Eichel guided the way with 1 goal and 2 assists, while Jonathan Marchessault tallied 2 scores. The Oilers cannot afford to lose another home game here.

Golden Knights vs Oilers Betting Trends

  • Vegas is 12-3 straight up in its last 15 away games.
  • The total has hit the over in five of Vegas' last eight games.
  • Edmonton is 11-3 straight up in its last 14 home games.
  • The total has hit the over in six of Edmonton's last nine games in May.

Golden Knights vs Oilers Prediction & Pick

Game 3 had the same feel as Game 1 did in this series. The Oilers were again not afraid to be physical (50 hits compared to Vegas' 25 hits), but it didn't help them dictate what happened in the game as the Golden Knights outshot them 33-28. Vegas simply flipped the script from their 5-1 Game 2 defeat.

Vegas even saw their starting goaltender Laurent Brossoit leave in the first period with a leg injury, yet it did not faze the team. Adin Hill stepped in and guided the Golden Knights to a victory. Keep in mind they started five different goaltenders throughout the season, so resiliency is nothing new for them.

This series comes down to momentum and momentum is on the side of Vegas. The Golden Knights have now won 12 of their last 15 away games and made the perfect adjustments prior to Game 3. I like head coach Bruce Cassidy's team to lean on a similar strategy in order to be the victor in Game 4.

Final Score Prediction: Golden Knights: 4 | Oilers: 2

Golden Knights vs Oilers Best Bet

Vegas is one of the best teams in the NHL when it comes to winning on the road this season as they have posted a 29-7-8 record. The Golden Knights are also 17-12-2 as an underdog, which makes it hard to pass up backing them at +150 odds. They have now won each of their three away games in the playoffs and have a chance to go up 3-1 in this series. Back Vegas to cash in on that chance.

Bet: Vegas Golden Knights ML (+150)
