The Baltimore Ravens' Week 1 matchup for the 2023 campaign is a home game against the Houston Texans. Last season, they opened with a road game on Sunday afternoon against the New York Jets. The Ravens emerged victorious by a score of 24-9 as quarterback Lamar Jackson tallied 3 passing touchdowns.

This is based on the projected win totals of Baltimore's opponents for the upcoming campaign. The Ravens will face a tall task given their upcoming slate, as just three teams went over their win total last year with a top-11 schedule in terms of difficulty.

The Ravens' 2023-24 opponents went a combined 110-125-2 last season. They'll face a trio of teams in the Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers that won at least 10 games during the 2022-23 campaign.

The front office got him a few new weapons to play with, too, as Odell Beckham Jr. and rookie Zay Flowers join the wide receiver group. The Ravens found a way to win 10 games last season without stabilization at QB and with a lack of receiving weapons, so expecting them to boost that total by a single game doesn't seem unrealistic at all.
