Buffalo also plays in London in Week 5 and suits up for a rare Saturday matchup in Week 16.

Bills Week 1 Opponent for 2023 Season

The Buffalo Bills' Week 1 matchup for the 2023 campaign will be against Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. This AFC East rivalry game will be the Week 1 Monday Night Football matchup and will be an away game for the Bills at MetLife Stadium.

Bills' 2023 Strength of Schedule

According to Sharp Football Analysis, the Bills have the second-hardest schedule in the NFL for the 2023-24 campaign. This is based on the projected win totals of Buffalo's opponents for the upcoming season. The Bills will face a tall task given their upcoming slate, as just two teams (Chiefs, Bengals) made the playoffs last year with a top-10 schedule in terms of difficulty.

The Bills' 2023-24 opponents went a combined 131-104-2 last season. They'll face four teams (Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals) that won at least 12 games during the 2022-23 campaign.

FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds odds currently list the Bills at 10.5 wins, with -128 on the over and +102 on the under. Buffalo has won at least 11 games in each of the past three seasons, including a pair of 13-win campaigns during this stretch.

The Bills will be put through the ringer in 2023-24, but there's a reason this team is one of the preseason Super Bowl favorites. Buffalo's high-powered offense is set to be one of the league's best once again with the duo of Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs leading the way. This top-ranked defense, meanwhile, could be even better after injuries robbed Von Miller and Micah Hyde of most of the 2022 campaign. There simply aren't many teams that can match the Bills' talent on a given week, so I like their chances of going over 10.5 wins.

Bet – Bills: Over 10.5 Wins (-128)

In the Super Bowl market, the Bills currently own the third-best odds at +900. They only trail the Kansas City Chiefs (+600) and Philadelphia Eagles (+850).
