FanDuel MotorCity Casino Mural Sports Moment Promotion Launches to Name Best Detroit Sports Moment of All Time

Updated:

When FanDuel Sportsbook launched in Michigan it brought legal sports betting to one of the best sports cities in the country in Detroit.

With the Pistons, Tigers, Red Wings and Lions having their fair share of incredible moments and memories over the years, FanDuel has decided to partner with The Ticket – the top sports radio show in Detroit – to bring four of the best Detroit sports moments to the forefront through the FanDuel MotorCity Casino Mural Sports Moment promotion.

Fans can submit their favorite Detroit sports memories or moments through this link.

The station will go through and curate the submitted moments and turn them into Twitter polls beginning the week of July 19. Once that voting is complete, the top four moments (one each from basketball, baseball, hockey and football) will be put into one poll, and a single winning moment will be crowned the top moment in Detroit sports history.

This contest represents an awesome way for the sports fans of Detroit to bring back some of their greatest memories and remember some of the cities coolest sports moments.

Here are The Duel's top picks for each sport:

1. Football: Barry Sanders Rushes for 2,000 Yards in 1997

2. Basketball: 2003-04 Pistons' Underdog Championship Run

3. Hockey: Steve Yzerman Scores a Double-Overtime Game Winner in 1996 Western Conference Finals

4. Baseball: Magglio Ordonez' Walk Off Home Run Sends Tigers to 2006 World Series

Be sure to use this link to submit your favorite Detroit sports moment of all time!
