FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for The Genesis Invitational 2023 at Riviera Country Club

FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for The Genesis Invitational 2023 at Riviera Country Club

Updated:

The PGA Tour is preparing for its next event at The Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California.

This field has a ton of big names teeing it up this week as one of the biggest non-major events on the calendar, not to mention, we are getting the official return of Tiger Woods.

Let's take a look at three golfers to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.

The Genesis Invitational 2023 Fantasy Picks

Rory McIlroy Fantasy

Rory McIlroy hasn't played much golf o the PGA Tour so far this season, and only grabbed a T32 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open this past week, but there's a reason he's up among the favorites here. McIlroy has crushed it at Riviera in the past. He's grabbed a top-10 finish in three of his last four starts here, and two of those were actually top-five finishes. I expect a similar or even better result this week for Rory.

Max Homa Fantasy

Like McIlroy, Max Homa is coming off a lackluster finish at the Waste Management last week, where he closed with a T39. Before that, Homa was on a heck of a streak, grabbing three consecutive top-four finishes, including a win at the Farmers Insurance Open at the end of January. Homa is also no joke at Riviera, finishing in the top 10 in his last three starts here, which includes a win in 2021.

Adam Scott Fantasy

Considering how much experience and success at Riviera Adam Scott has had throughout his career, you can get him at a great number this week. Scott is coming off a 29th and T21 finish in his two PGA Tour starts this season, but coming to Riviera changes things for the Australian. Scott has played here 14 times in his career. In those 14 starts, he's finished in the top 25 in 10 of them, in the top 10 in seven of them, runner-up in two of them, and has won twice. Those are all amazing percentages considering where he ranks this week. And this isn't success from years ago, Scott finished 4th last year here and won it 2020.
