FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the TOUR Championship 2022 at East Lake Golf Club

FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the TOUR Championship 2022 at East Lake Golf Club

Updated:

The FedExCup Playoffs are winding down as PGA Tour pros are heading to East Lake Golf Club for the final event of the year, the TOUR Championship.

With a very loaded and elite field, the TOUR Championship has a unique format, wit players starting with a certain score determined by their FedExCup rankings, beginning with Scottie Scheffler at 10-under par.

With this in mind, let's take a look at three guys to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.

TOUR Championship 2022 Fantasy Picks

Patrick Cantlay Fantasy

In 2021, Patrick Cantlay won the BMW Championship and then followed it up by walking out on top at the TOUR Championship a week later, and I'm banking on him doing that again in 2022. Coming off a BMW Championship win last week and top-15 finishes in seven of his last eight starts, plus top-10 finishes in four of his last five and top-three finishes in two of his last three, Cantlay is on fire right now. Other players may have had a better overall season, but no one is closing it out the way Cantlay has. I'm riding the hot hand.

Will Zalatoris Fantasy

Will Zalatoris has proven this season he can step up when the pressure is on and the field is strong, both of those things are true this week. After winning the FedEx St. Jude Championship two weeks ago, he's vaulted himself into a great position in this tournament. He also has finished T6 or better in three of the four majors this season. He's never played professionally at East Lake, but given his recent form and the situation, he's someone I like this week.

TOUR Championship Sleepers 2022

Jordan Spieth Fantasy

You should be able to get some value on Jordan Spieth this week, but he's got a great resume at this course. In six career starts here, he's got five top-20 finishes, which includes three top-10s and a win. He's also coming into the event on the heels of three top-20 finishes in his last four starts. Speith might not be in a position to win this event due to the scoring format, but for fantasy purposes, his history here should make him an intriguing pick.
