FanDuel Fantasy Basketball Picks & Lineup Tonight for 12/7/2022 (Fire Up Giannis in High-Scoring Affair)

Here are three players to target and two to avoid in Wednesday, 12/7, NBA DFS action.

NBA DFS Picks Tonight 12/7/2022

Giannis Antetokounmpo Fantasy

Target Giannis Antetokounmpo, SF/PF, Milwaukee Bucks ($11,700): The return of Khris Middleton to the lineup has had no negative effect on Giannis Antetokounmpo. He's averaging 37.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists over his past two games with Middleton in the lineup. Now Antetokounmpo leads the Milwaukee Bucks into what could be a high-scoring affair against the Sacramento Kings. Sacramento plays the fourth-fastest pace in the league, which should create extra opportunities for Giannis to pad his numbers. This matchup also features the second-highest over/under of Wednesday's 11-game slate, and Antetokounmpo figures to play a huge role in that.

Zion Williamson Fantasy

Target Zion Williamson, PF, New Orleans Pelicans ($9,900): Let's double-dip on another high-salaried player in Zion Williamson. The high-flying forward is averaging a whopping 56.5 FanDuel fantasy points over his last four games, scoring at least 23 actual points in every contest while adding 9.8 RPG and 6.3 APG. Williamson will continue to be the New Orleans Pelicans' No. 1 scorer in this one with Brandon Ingram sidelined and CJ McCollum still working his way back into game shape. Now the former top pick draws the perfect matchup to boom in the Detroit Pistons. Detroit allows the third-most PPG and seventh-most RPG, setting Williamson up for a huge night.

Thomas Bryant Fantasy

Target Thomas Bryant, C, Los Angeles Lakers ($4,300): Thomas Bryant stepped up in a huge way for the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday after Anthony Davis left early due to flu-like symptoms. Bryant set a season high in points (19), tied his 2022-23 best for rebounds (9), and saw his most minutes of the campaign (28) so far. The big man continues to produce when giving the playing time, posting at least 24 fantasy points in each of the last three contests where he's played at least 17 minutes. With Davis already ruled out for Wednesday's game, Bryant should return some nice value and get heavily involved again.

De'Aaron Fox Fantasy

Avoid De'Aaron Fox, PG, Sacramento Kings ($8,300): De'Aaron Fox has been a disappointment as of late, posting fewer than 36 fantasy points in each of his last six outings and falling into the 20-point range in three of those games. His scoring drop-off is the main culprit, failing to score 20 points in five of those contests despite averaging 23.1 PPG on the year. This doesn't look like Fox's night to break out of his funk with the Bucks on tap. Milwaukee own's the league's second-best defensive rating and now has lockdown guard Jrue Holiday back healthy, presenting two major hurdles in the way of Fox rebounding in this one.

CJ McCollum Fantasy

Avoid CJ McCollum, PG/SG, New Orleans Pelicans ($7,200): The aforementioned CJ McCollum has clearly struggled in his return from COVID protocols. He's posted 18.6 fantasy points or fewer in both games after rejoining the lineup, and the crafty scorer has put up a meager 12 combined points while he improves his conditioning. Even with Ingram out and a positive matchup, McCollum simply isn't lineup-worthy right now.
