FanDuel Fantasy Basketball Picks & Lineup Tonight for 11/14/2022

Updated:

The 2022-23 NBA season is in full swing. If you need some advice on your FanDuel fantasy basketball lineup for tonight's slate, The Duel is here to help.

Here are three players to target and two to avoid in Monday, 11/14, NBA DFS action.

NBA DFS Picks Tonight 11/14/2022

Jayson Tatum Fantasy

Target Jayson Tatum, SF/PF, Boston Celtics ($10,400): Jayson Tatum continues to light it up this season. He's somehow been even better recently, averaging 34.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 52.5 FanDuel fantasy points over his last six games. He draws a great matchup to keep things going in the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night. OKC ranks in the top 10 for most PPG allowed to opponents, and they've given up the most RPG to this point. Tatum could supplement a huge scoring night with a great showing on the boards in this one.

Paul George Fantasy

Target Paul George, SG/SF, Los Angeles Clippers ($9,300): Given the lack of interesting moderate-value targets, double dipping with Paul George makes a ton of sense, especially given his opponent. George lit up the Houston Rockets in their two previous meetings this year, averaging 31.5 PPG, 6.5 APG and 6.6 RPG. He posted a combined 117.1 fantasy points in just two games, including a 78.8-point explosion on Halloween. Few players have that kind of ceiling on Monday's slate, making PG13 an attractive target.

Charless Bassey Fantasy

Target Charles Bassey, C, San Antonio Spurs ($4,900): Charles Bassey has been nothing but productive when on the court for the San Antonio Spurs. He's putting up 26.1 fantasy PPG while averaging just 15.5 minutes over four appearances, making his presence felt on the boards (8.0 RPG) and as a defender (2.0 blocks per game). After some sporadic usage, Bassey has played in the team's last three games and is slated for an increased role with fellow big man Zach Collins sidelined due to a leg injury. Bassey's high motor makes him a prime candidate to return value tonight.

Bam Adebayo Fantasy

Avoid Bam Adebayo, PF/C, Miami Heat ($8,000): Bam Adebayo is far from matchup-proof, and Monday could be one of those nights where he struggles to impress against tough competition. The Phoenix Suns are a tough matchup for anyone, as they hold opponents to the fewest PPG and rank just outside the top 10 in fewest RPG given up so far. Adebayo can underwhelm when facing a strong opposing big man, like when he posted just 5 rebounds against Jusuf Nurkic on Nov. 7. Phoenix's Deandre Ayton falls into this category, so it's hard to see Adebayo going off in this one.

Jordan Poole Fantasy

Avoid Jordan Poole, PG/SG, Golden State Warriors ($6,600): Jordan Poole hasn't had anything going lately offensively. He's scored 18 points or fewer in five of his last six games, which simply isn't enough for him to be fantasy relevant given his lacking peripheral contributions (3.3 APG, 2.0 RPG) during this stretch. He's also logged 28 minutes or fewer in four contests during this time, so it's clear he can take a backseat in the rotation if he's not producing. Avoid Poole in lineups until he starts to show signs of life.
