Week 5 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes a showdown between the Eastern Washington Eagles and Florida Gators. Eastern Washington's underwhelming season continued last week after losing a back-and-forth affair, 38-35, to Montana State.
Meanwhile, Florida tried its best but came up short in its 38-33 loss to No. 11 Tennessee over the weekend. Quarterback Anthony Richardson threw for 453 yards and a pair of touchdowns in defeat as the wideout duo of Justin Shorter and Ricky Pearsall combined for 12 receptions, 258 yards and a TD.

Eastern Washington vs Florida Prediction & Pick
Viewers shouldn't expect a traditional game when Eastern Washington and Florida meet this weekend. The NCAA announced Tuesday that the game was being moved from Saturday to Sunday due to Hurricane Ian, so it's entirely possible that rain and winds could affect the offenses and special teams involved.
Having said that, Florida does have the 26th-best rushing attack in the nation and should be fine if the weather is a factor. That spells bad news for an Eastern Washington team that's surrendered 618 rushing yards over the last two weeks, however.
Whether it rains or not, I still expect this to be a one-sided victory for Florida.
Final Score Prediction: Florida: 45 | Eastern Washington: 24
