Eagles vs Commanders Opening Odds, Betting Lines & Prediction for Week 3 Game on FanDuel Sportsbook

Updated:

Week 2 NFL action is underway, but FanDuel Sportsbook has already released NFL odds and lines for Week 3, giving us an early preview of next week's slate.

Week 3's 1 p.m. slate features an NFC East clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders.

Eagles vs Commanders Odds & Lines Week 3

All NFL betting lines, odds and prop bets are from FanDuel Sportsbook.
Moneyline: PHI: (-180) | WSH: (+152)
Spread: PHI: -3 (-115) | WSH: +3 (-105)
Total: N/A — Over: (N/A) | Under: (N/A)

The Commanders will finally get a true test this week after facing the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions in their first two games. The Eagles, on the other hand, survived the Lions in Week 1 and are matched up against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. Philadelphia is believed to be the better team on paper, as Carson Wentz is difficult to trust for Washington. As such, the Eagles are favorites on the spread (-3) and moneyline (-180) despite being on the road.

Eagles vs Commanders Prediction Week 3

Early NFL predictions and picks are from ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI).
Eagles: 58.7% to win
Commanders: 40.8% to win

The Commanders have looked shaky so far, which makes them a risky play even at home. The Eagles have the better all-around team and should be able to win by more than a field goal this week. Bet Eagles -3 (-115), especially since the spread could increase if Philadelphia improves to 2-0 with a big MNF win.
