Duke Basketball Record at Madison Square Garden Under Mike Krzyzewski Boasts Positive Betting Result

Updated:

If you've got a head coach like Mike Krzyzewski and his more than 1,000 wins for your program alone, chances are that he's won more than a few games at Madison Square Garden in New York City too.

Duke Record at MSG Under Coach K

Since coach Krzyzewski started running the Blue Devils' show back in 1980, Duke boasts a 31-11 (.738) record in 42 total games played at Madison Square Garden as of Nov. 18, 2019. Duke is also 7-3 in its last 10 games at MSG, dating back to the 2013-14 season, but that recent 10-game history certainly hasn't come against easy opponents.

In Duke's last 10 matchups at MSG, the Blue Devils have faced the likes of Kansas (twice), Texas Tech, Florida, Arizona, UCLA, VCU and Georgetown. Even though Coach K's .788 overall winning percentage with Duke (1,063-285) is slightly better than his .738 mark at MSG, he has consistently gotten the upper hand on higher-level competition at the Garden.

Duke Games at MSG

The Blue Devils have already played and won at MSG this year after Duke knocked off then-No. 3 Kansas, 68-66, in the 2019-20 season opener as part of the State Farm Champions Classic on Nov. 5, 2019.

Duke also has at least two more upcoming games at MSG on the schedule this season as part of the 2019 2K Empire Classic tournament. The Blue Devils are slated to play California at 9 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 21 before taking on either Georgetown or Texas on Friday, Nov. 22.
