Dolphins vs Ravens Week 2 Game Info

2022 NFL Regular Season — Week 2 Game

Date: Sunday, September 18, 2022
Time: 1:00 p.m. ET
Venue: M&T Bank Stadium — Baltimore, MD

The Miami Dolphins will visit M&T Bank stadium for the first time since 2017 when they match up against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2 NFL action. Miami is riding high after taking down the New England Patriots by a score of 20-7 in Week 1. The defense allowed only 271 yards during the game.

Meanwhile, the Ravens took care of business in Week 1 by dismantling the New York Jets in a 24-9 victory. Quarterback Lamar Jackson leaned on his arm and tossed three touchdowns, with two of them going to wide receiver Devin Duvernay. Marcus Williams nabbed an interception on defense.

Updated (Sunday, Sept. 18, 12:30 p.m. EST): Updated odds were provided from FanDuel Sportsbook. Not much has changed with this line, except the over/under point total fell from 44.5 points to just 43.5 on Sunday.

The Ravens enter this contest as a small favorite on the moneyline and the spread. This 1 p.m. ET clash also features one of the lower projected totals (44.5) on the NFL Week 2 slate.

Dolphins vs Ravens Prediction & Pick

These two teams met last season as the Dolphins earned a 22-10 victory thanks to four sacks and one interception on defense. That game was played in November at Hard Rock Stadium, though. Taking the Ravens down in front of their home crowd is an entirely different task to accomplish.

Baltimore has posted a 23-10 record at home since the start of the 2018 season. The Ravens are also 8-2 straight up in their last 10 meeting against the Dolphins. This game is going to be close given the depth each roster possesses, but Jackson will make enough plays in the fourth quarter to win.

Final Score Prediction: Dolphins: 20 | Ravens: 23

Dolphins vs Ravens Betting Trends

- Miami is 2-8 straight up in its last 10 games against Baltimore.
- The total has hit the under in four of Miami's last five away games.
- Baltimore is 9-1 against the spread (ATS) in its last 10 games against Miami.
- The total has hit the under in seven of Baltimore's last 10 games.

Dolphins vs Ravens Best Bet

The Ravens may win this game, but expecting them to win by more than a field goal is disrespectful to the Dolphins. Miami allowed only 3.5 yards per carry in Week 1 and gave up just a single scoring drive to the Patriots. The Jets had no trouble putting up 378 yards of offense against the Ravens, though.

The Dolphins defeated the Ravens last year by regularly blitzing Jackson and generating constant pressure. If they can successfully utilize the same strategy this time around, they'll be able to keep this game close until the very end. This one has a Justin Tucker game-winning field goal written all over it.
