Dolphins Get Disappointing Terron Armstead Injury Update Before 49ers Game

The Miami Dolphins are readying for a Week 13 clash with the San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately, the offense may have a tough time against the league's best defensive unit. San Francisco leads the league in fewest points and yards allowed.
Those problems were made worse by the latest injury update to starting offensive tackle Terron Armstead.
As was likely going to be the case, OT Terron Armstead will indeed be OUT today against the 49ers, per sources. Miami can lean on Tua’s efficiency with fast release time (best passer rating in NFL when throwing inside 2.5 seconds), but it will be a challenge regardless.

Considered doubtful to play earlier this week, the 49ers made an official decision on Armstead's status Sunday. He's been ruled out.
Armstead's O-line counterpart, starter Austin Jackson, has also been ruled out due to injury. Miami will be without both of their starting tackles against the stingiest defense in football. San Francisco also ranks 8th in sacks (33), including 11.5 (3rd) from Nick Bosa.
That's a tall task for Tua Tagovailoa and his offense, no matter how explosive they've been in 2022.
For now, the Dolphins are considered 5.5-point road underdogs per NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
