Tony Finau had an impressive performance at the 3M Open over the weekend, but now the PGA Tour turns its attention to the next stop of the season at the Detroit Golf Club for the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic.

The Rocket Mortgage Classic will take place at the Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, MI. It's set to tee off on Thursday, July 28.

Detroit Golf Club Weather

The weather forecast for each day of the Rocket Mortgage Classic is expected to be partly cloudy with very little chance of rain. The temperature will remain in the lower 80s and reaches a high of 86 degrees on the final day of the tournament. Wind gusts on Thursday could reach up to 14 mph.

Detroit Golf Club History

Founded by William R. Farrand in 1899, the Detroit Golf Club has two courses on site and both were designed by famous golf course architect Donald Ross. The course has hosted the Rocket Mortgage Classic since 2019 after never previously hosting a PGA Tour event.
