Davante Adams Hints at Possible Aaron Rodgers Trade to Raiders

Updated:

After moving on from Derek Carr late last season, the Las Vegas Raiders are still in the market for a quarterback. They were originally believed to be in the running for Tom Brady, but he's no longer an option after announcing his retirement on Wednesday.

With Brady off the table, the Raiders may be setting their sights on a different future Hall of Famer.

Aaron Rodgers Trade Rumors

Las Vegas wide receiver Davante Adams posted a video to his Instagram story on Wednesday of him catching a pass from Rodgers when both were on the Green Bay Packers. The highlight was modified to be in silver and black -- the same colors as the Raiders.

Despite having a productive first season with Las Vegas, Adams seemingly misses his old quarterback and wants to play with him again. Given the Raiders' need under center and Rodgers' recent tumultuous relationship with the Packers, perhaps a trade is in the offing.

Las Vegas would need to surrender considerable draft capital to acquire Rodgers, similar to what the Denver Broncos gave up to land Russell Wilson last year. The Raiders may consider it after going 6-11 last year, however, especially since they already have the perfect recruiting tool for Rodgers in Adams.
