Dak Prescott Record Against Playoff Teams Proves He's Overrated

Updated:

Dak Prescott is coming off a career season in 2020. While that didn't result in a postseason berth for the Dallas Cowboys, Prescott is now reportedly seeking to become the NFL's highest-paid passer.

However, his record and performance against teams that actually made the postseason last year should seriously worry Cowboys fans.

Dak Prescott Record Against Playoff Teams

Last season, the Cowboys went 8-8 while Prescott threw 30 touchdowns to 11 interceptions.

However, 22 of those TDs, and just 3 of those INTs, came against teams that missed the postseason. Prescott led the team to a 7-2 record in such contests. However, when facing teams that made the playoffs, the Cowboys went a miserable 1-6, and Prescott tossed 8 scores and 8 picks.

It's certainly a good sign that Dallas beat up on teams that they should've dominated, but his performance against stiffer competition is worrying, to say the least.
